For more details on company, visit our website at Job Title: Global Trade Compliance Manager Location: Tijuana, MX Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned International Trade Compliance Manager to lead and oversee our global trade compliance programs, with a focus on maintaining and enhancing certifications including OEA and CTPAT. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with international trade regulations and foster strong relationships with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain international trade compliance policies and procedures in line with OEA, CTPAT, and other global standards. Manage audits and re-certifications for OEA (EU) and CTPAT (US), ensuring ongoing eligibility and best practices. Monitor and interpret changes in global trade regulations, particularly customs, export control laws, and security programs. Partner with logistics, procurement, legal, and supply chain teams to ensure compliance in shipping, importing/exporting, and supplier engagements. Conduct internal training and awareness programs on trade compliance and supply chain security. Lead investigations and corrective actions related to compliance breaches or customs issues. Liaise with customs authorities, brokers, and external consultants as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including documentation for audits and regulatory filings. Drive continuous improvement in trade compliance processes through automation, data analytics, and risk assessments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Law, or related field (Master’s or professional certification preferred, e.g., CCS, CES, or ICP). Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in international trade compliance, with specific expertise in OEA and CTPAT programs. In-depth knowledge of international customs regulations, import/export documentation, HTS classification, valuation, and free trade agreements. Proven ability to lead global compliance initiatives and cross-functional projects. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with compliance tools, trade management systems, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP GTS, Oracle GTM). Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Certifications: Licensed Customs Broker Certified Export Specialist (CES) or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) ISO 28000 or AEO security certification knowledge
