As a procurement buyer at Weave, you’ll be working closely with the Director of Procurement to support all procurement operations and activities across the entire business. Your work will include supplier and stakeholder management, contract management and negotiations and PO reviews and executions. In this role you will be aligned to various departments across the business and you’ll typically be responsible for the coordination and execution of high-volume, lower-cost purchases ensuring compliance with all required processes. You’ll also be tasked with leading various initiatives to support the strategy of the procurement team including but not limited to vendor record clean up, spend analytics, renewal tracking, supplier onboarding, and systems training. Remote, based in LATAM (Mexico). Reports to: Director of Procurement Supports US Based Procurement function & US Mountain Time hours What You Will Own Conducting supplier due diligence for onboarding - including coordination of reviews between Compliance, Legal, IT and Security. Working with Legal to evaluate & redline contract terms Review and negotiate commercial contract terms with suppliers Assist with and coordinate RF(x) events Conduct research on purchasing needs and identify potential suppliers Process purchase requests in Airbase Purchasing System & execute POs Support Invoice Inquiries & coordinate payments with AP Analyze spend data to provide meaningful insights Proactively meet with stakeholders to understanding purchasing needs Resolve Vendor performance issues if they arise Track and manage cost-savings initiatives Develop Contract renewal calendar Manage and execute contract renewals Develop training materials & provide ongoing training for business stakeholders Assist in procurement consolidation activities resulting from M&A activity What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job 2-4 years of experience in procurement, contract management, supplier management etc. at a Software company BS Degree with a concentration in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field Excellent verbal and written communication Strong negotiation skills Experience running RF(x) Events Efficient in managing multiple projects to execution Proven ability to redline commercial supplier agreements Experience in proactive customer service/relationship management Highly motivated and independent worker Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Demonstration of strong analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Gmail Experience using a Procure to Pay system such as Coupa, Airbase, SAP Ariba, Zip etc. Demonstrates a creative approach to process development improvement What Will Make Us Love You Experience managing or overseeing a P-card program Experience managing and negotiation with large enterprise level suppliers such as Salesforce, Netsuite, SAP, etc. M&A Procurement experience Experience managing and setting up purchase catalogs such as Amazon, CDW, etc. Weave is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where all individuals are valued and supported.
