Job Description: Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Audio Engineer Audio Weaver serves as the foundational framework for the OEM's audio system architecture. While the architecture itself is owned by the OEM, Bose is responsible for delivering the audio software module tailored to their specifications. Bose develops its audio algorithms in C, and to ensure compatibility with the Audio Weaver framework, these algorithm interfaces must be appropriately wrapped. Required Experience and Exposure • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related discipline required • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Audio and Signal Processing, with emphasis on Embedded C, RTOS, and C++ • Solid understanding of DSP principles and audio development methodologies • Proven ability to adapt to evolving requirements, design changes, and development updates in alignment with OEM specifications • Comfortable managing updates to interfaces driven by shifts in OEM requirements 7301 Parkway Drive S, Suite 1032 | Hanover MD 21076 | 1.888.963.7740 CONFIDENTIAL 2 Preferred Skills: • Prior experience with Audio Weaver—a leading audio development platform for deploying audio solutions— is highly prioritized • Strong background in audio systems, audio plug-ins, custom audio signal processing, and embedded software development is preferred • Proficient in Python and MATLAB, with hands-on experience in algorithm development and integration of audio interfaces • Familiarity with the Qualcomm Development Platform and real-time operating systems (RTOS), particularly QURT or working knowledge of other RTOs and concepts.
