Responsibility and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are our top priorities. We need an experienced Cloud Operations Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, efficiency, and security of our cloud infrastructure. You will perform advanced technical tasks, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to process improvements that enhance our operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise and a commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. Main Responsibilities: Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks on cloud equipment, including servers, storage systems, and network devices. Troubleshoot hardware and network issues, leveraging diagnostic tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents efficiently. Monitor system performance using DCIM tools and respond promptly to alerts, ensuring minimal disruption to services. Implement and adhere to policies and procedures, including change management, incident management, and security protocols. Participate in cloud operation projects, such as equipment installations, migrations, and upgrades, ensuring they are completed within defined timelines and quality standards. Support capacity planning by tracking resource utilization. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent Able to communicate in English 3+ years of hands-on experience as a IT Technician or in a related IT operations role Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking (Cisco, Juniper), and power/cooling systems Proficient in troubleshooting techniques for hardware and network issues Familiarity with DCIM software and monitoring tools Able to work on-site in Queretaro, Mexico 100% of the time Flexibility to work off-hours, weekends, or be on-call as part of a rotation schedule Must hold Mexican citizenship Preferred Qualifications: Additional technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+) are a plus Strong communication skills and attention to detail Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management best practices Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Able to communicate in both English and Spanish
