Job Overview As a Tooling Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of thermoplastic injection tooling. The successful candidate will oversee the engineering of thermoplastic injection tooling, collaborating with external custom molders and internal sites. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that thermoplastic injection tooling equipment is properly maintained and secured with vendors, both externally and internally. Establish proper tooling lifecycles to prevent sudden tooling breakdowns and supply disruptions. Manage vendor relationships to ensure clarity on the capacity of each tool. Procure thermoplastic injection molds, including preparing RFQs, specifying tooling requirements, and overseeing manufacturing from design approval to initial test. Execute FAT runs, push necessary adjustments or changes, and transfer tooling assets to final locations. Assist in validation and ensure successful release to production. Requirements: Knowledge of tool room equipment and 3D modeling software (preferably Solid Works). Proficiency in the English language. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Medical Industry, with expertise in regulations, validation processes, and statistical techniques.
