Belmond seeks a highly motivated and strategic Area Director of Sales to spearhead commercial success across our exceptional Mexican properties: Maroma, A Belmond Hotel, Riviera Maya and Casa de Sierra Nevada, A Belmond Hotel, San Miguel de Allende, plus exciting upcoming openings. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and maximizing business conversion across all segments. We're looking for a visionary leader with relentless commercial drive and a passion for excellence. Main Responsibilities: Define and execute the commercial strategy for Mexico, ensuring aggressive revenue growth and profitability. Lead, coach, and inspire the Area sales team (Associates, Sales Managers, Catering, Executives). Expand market share across leisure, groups, celebrations, corporate segments, both B2B and B2C markets. Develop strategic partnerships with luxury travel consortia, agencies, and LVMH Maisons. Develop annual sales forecasts and plans with monthly and quarterly objectives, and establish a monthly sales report outlining all key achievements. Work in collaboration with the Area Director of Marketing and Marketing team to ensure resources are available to deliver the Sales Plan. Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing or equivalent. 7–10 years of senior leadership experience in luxury hospitality sales. Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving market share growth. Strong leadership and team development skills. Strategic thinker with ability to execute hands-on when required. Extensive network in luxury travel segment (consortia, agencies, HNWI). Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
