Other Key Responsibilities In addition to the above responsibilities, the Materials Program Manager will also be responsible for: Process work order and consumption data in SAP and using spreadsheets to build understanding of parts consumption, reorder requirements, and stock availability. Manage delivery schedules in order to ensure materials arrive ahead of required dates. Track shipments and ensure confirmation of receipt in system. Provide SAP support to vehicle maintenance operations team as required for materials management. Retrieve quotes from suppliers & submit purchase orders. Place purchase orders and purchase requisitions as required based on MRP recommendations or ad hoc requests. Communicates & develops process improvements as needed. Mitigate Excess and Obsolescence.
