Job Description

Overview What will you do? Responsible for the execution/develop of manufacturing controls. Work will be performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised as well as a high level of independent judgment. Responsibilities Lead developing eTools, eBots and AI applications to promote assets performance effectiveness Lead DLA, CHARM, and Control Rooms systems & architecture in very assembly shop Lead among assembly shop GM Cybersecurity requirements, automation software inventories control updates, upgrades or replacement, ASMS Ahead of inventories control: Robotic application, Vision Systems, AMR's and CoBots Coordinate and develop compelling training Controls System Plan through the different levels of GC Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to enable component reuse and consistency to standard methodologies Deploy cost optimization over OEM services, spare parts and lifetime control systems New program implementation/execution (SOR prep, forecasting, controls/robotics design, equipment build/run-off and buyoff) Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement Staying abreast of new controls technologies (PLC, HMI, networks, robot, vision) of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts Managing deliveries to program timing milestones Providing project report outs to senior management Existing program/site support (troubleshooting, etc.) Providing technical direction to less experienced controls engineers. Designing and troubleshooting of electrical controls systems Work may involve development and testing of advanced process technology Job Title JR- Central Controls Engineer. Work Appropriately On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree: Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer and all Engineering related. Required experience in similar position: from 3 to 5 years. Available to change shifts in special cases. English Level: Advanced. Key Skills: Experience working with PLCs from Siemens, Allen Bradley and FANUC brands (Programming and troubleshooting skills), CoBots.
