Job Overview The Project Manager oversees five key areas: Safety Leadership, Quality Leadership, Technical Delivery, Cost & Schedule, and Client/Stake Holder Management. Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, efficient, timely, and cost-effective project delivery of the Business Capital Portfolio. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams. Ensure contract construction firms employ world-class safety methods and meet cost and schedule commitments. Build a project team to deliver safe, effective, and capital-efficient design and procurement. Implement cost, schedule, and forecasting tools for on-time and within-budget project delivery. Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring regular updates tailored to audience technical skill and interest. Hold full accountability for project safety, cost, schedule, communication, scope, risk, quality, and delivery. Develop and utilize a safety and quality culture, leading by example. Manage interfaces and effective communication with mining operations, projects, finance, procurement, legal, vendors, and contractors in Mexico. Requirements and Qualifications Degree in Engineering MBA desirable but not necessary Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desirable 15+ years direct mining experience in capital projects execution in Mexico/USA and related industry, leadership of multiple capital projects over $50M, employment within the mining industry English advanced
