In 2024, OMA handled over 26 million passengers. We are seeking a seasoned Airport Maintenance Director (F/M) to lead maintenance operations across this network. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of maintenance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an airport environment, and a strong background in industrial or manufacturing settings. This role requires a visionary leader capable of implementing advanced maintenance systems, driving performance through KPIs, managing large-scale contracts, and leading remote teams. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate maintenance operations across multiple airports. Develop and implement centralized Maintenance Control Center, Dispatch Desk, and CMMS. Establish KPI-based performance management systems for operational excellence. Negotiate and manage large maintenance contracts, ensuring SLA compliance. Manage budgets with a focus on cost control and reduction. Design overhaul programs for infrastructure and systems. Build and manage geographically dispersed maintenance teams. Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards. Collaborate with airport operations, engineering, and external contractors. Support infrastructure modernization and expansion initiatives. Integrate innovative solutions for sustainability and environmental impact reduction. Travel regularly to oversee operations across all sites. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 10 years of maintenance leadership experience. At least 5 years in airport maintenance operations. Proven experience with CMMS, dispatch systems, and centralized control. Strong background in contract negotiation and vendor oversight. Experience developing KPI frameworks. Ability to lead remote teams and foster collaboration. Willingness and ability to travel frequently across 13 airports. Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic skills. Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification preferred. This position is based at Monterrey International Airport, Mexico, with an initial 3-year contract, extendable for another 3 years. Frequent travel across 13 airports is required.
