As a Troubleshooting Engineer, you will be working at our manufacturing plant and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to perform circuit board level root cause failure analysis, quality improvements, manufacturing and process improvements, with emphasis on reliability, consistency, and testability. Emphasis will be on fast iterations and resourceful solutions. The position requires agile thinking and a high-level system understanding of hardware and product interoperability across the family. Communication and leadership skills are highly appreciated. Education and Experience Required Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (Master preferred). 5+ years of hands-on experience and a proven track record in hardware troubleshooting. Volume manufacturing of electronic products. Excellent English. Expertise in hardware debugging and root cause analysis including for the following: SOCs, microcontrollers, microprocessors (ARM), embedded peripheral interfaces (PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, UART, embedded flash, high-speed serial), high-speed signaling, protocols and power supplies. Required Knowledge and Skills Hands-on working knowledge of RF systems, wireless products, Signal Integrity, High-speed signals, and Power Integrity for troubleshooting purposes Knowledge of PCB materials, PCB design process, PCB assembly/manufacturing process Strong troubleshooting skills Hands-on experience with test equipment and lab resources, including oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, logic analyzers, vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, data loggers, multimeters, and optical and thermal analysis tools. Roles and Responsibilities Dynamic problem-solving and willingness to explore unconventional approaches when needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to drive projects to success, is ideal. Conduct Failure Analysis and produce practical solutions. Read and understand Electronic Schematics and identify, debug and troubleshoot electronic circuit boards which include sensors, microcontrollers and wireless devices using test equipment oscilloscopes and multi-meters. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Exposure to installing and troubleshooting wireless networking equipment such as routers, wi-fi hubs, extenders.
