This role proactively identifies and mitigates risks, ensures compliance with applicable regulations, and fosters a culture of safety through continuous training and employee engagement. By integrating safety into daily operations, the position reduces workplace hazards, prevents incidents, and supports overall operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Promote and execute the company's EHS Policy, ensuring understanding and compliance among all employees under their supervision. Design and implement workplace safety programs and policies aligned with corporate and regulatory standards. Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to detect and mitigate potential hazards. Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents; implement corrective and preventive actions. Lead safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors. Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards. Oversee the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce adherence. Coordinate emergency preparedness plans, including fire drills and evacuation procedures. Monitor and analyze safety performance indicators to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with leadership and staff to promote a safety-first culture. Integrate safety considerations into equipment and process design. Lead and manage safety committees and encourage active worker participation. Develop, train, and lead team members under their supervision. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field). Experience: 4–6 years of experience in safety coordination or related roles. Language: Intermediate English (minimum). Key Knowledge & Skills Leadership and people management. Occupational safety standards and compliance (global and local). Risk assessment and hazard identification. Incident investigation and root cause analysis. Emergency preparedness and crisis management. Safety culture development and behavioral safety. PPE management and engineering controls.
