The General Manager Mexico and Puerto Rico is responsible: Responsibilities Lead the organization, define strategic goals aligned with Latin America and Developed Markets Regional strategic objectives to achieve short-term and long-term brand positioning, above-market growth, and P&L results, compliant with business practices and local legal regulations Develop talent in the organization, as well as prepare succession for critical roles Own the overall sales process within your assigned countries (pre-sale and post-sale) Build a strategic YOY business plan within each sub-region in this territory incorporating key value drivers for both the channel partner as well as Beckman Coulter which will drive YOY revenue growth and sustained partnership Deploy robust sales, marketing, services, and operations campaigns with the local regional teams This position reports to the Latin America Vice President , and is part of the Latam Organization located in Mexico and will be an on-site role. Opportunity Understand the business and financial goals of your region, and put together a sound strategy on how Beckman Coulter is the partner of choice Influence with strong communication and persuasion ability and work collaboratively; ability to work in a matrix structure Essential requirements Bachelor’s degree (preferably within business or biomedical engineering), Master’s Degree in the Health Care industry 20+ years of experience in Health Care, Medical Devices, Diagnostics segments 10+ years of experience in a General Manager role in Latin America countries Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English Strong influence and ability to interact at C-suite level of the medical industry Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role Ability to travel 25 – 50% within Latin America Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Plus Fluent understanding of hospital operating financials and healthcare economics Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly, concisely, and accurately conduct executive-level presentations Benefits Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs.
