What You Will Do Collaborate with product design teams to integrate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles, ensuring assembly processes are optimized for automation. Lead the development and implementation of automated solutions to enhance production efficiency and scalability. Manage vendor relationships by providing technical guidance, overseeing progress, and ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines. Troubleshoot and debug automation systems, swiftly resolving technical challenges to maintain operational excellence. Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the lifecycle of automation projects, ensuring clarity and consistency in technical records. Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Travel internationally up to 30% of the time to collaborate with vendors, oversee project progress, and facilitate successful deployments. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience and strong knowledge in automation engineering, with a focus on assembly processes and DFM. Proven experience in managing vendors to implement automated solutions effectively. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with strong attention to detail. Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in multicultural and international settings. Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time. What Will Put You Ahead Experience in automation engineering within a manufacturing or industrial context.
