Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Housing Leasing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our leasing department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the leasing process for affordable housing communities. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the full leasing process from marketing and outreach through move-in. Conduct outreach to community organizations, referral partners, and applicant pools to generate qualified leads. Review and verify applicant eligibility and coordinate approvals with property management teams. Work with property managers and marketing partners to promote available units through approved advertising channels. Ensure all leasing files and applicant documentation meet program requirements. Prepare, issue, and track lease agreements and renewals with accuracy and compliance. Maintain accurate applicant and leasing data in property management and compliance systems. Provide prompt, professional, and courteous assistance to applicants, residents, and community partners throughout the leasing process. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, property management, or a related field preferred. Prior experience in residential leasing, affordable housing, or property management required; knowledge of LIHTC and other affordable housing programs strongly preferred. Fluent in English and Spanish (required) — must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with applicants and residents in both languages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple lease-ups and high application volume. High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing applications, leases, and compliance documentation. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
