Description and RequirementsLenovo’s Solutions & Services Group (SSG) Professional Services (PS) team is seeking a Hybrid Cloud Solution Architect (SA) to help drive the growth of professional and managed services across North America. This position, based in Mexico, will support sales teams and worldwide service delivery by designing and proposing data and workload migration solutions that meet customer requirements. The successful candidate will have strong experience designing and/or executing hybrid cloud migrations, with the ability to identify and document migration requirements, estimate effort, and create detailed scopes and proposals. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams across the Canada, and global delivery centers. Occasional travel to the and/or Canada may be required. Key Responsibilities Design and architect hybrid cloud and data migration solutions across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with customer business needs and Lenovo’s service portfolio. Support pre-sales and proposal development by defining migration scope, estimating cost and effort, and contributing to Statements of Work (SOWs). Partner with sales, delivery, and technical teams to develop comprehensive hybrid cloud solutions encompassing infrastructure, storage, and workload migrations. Leverage expertise in platforms such as VMware, Nutanix, Azure Local, Red Hat OpenShift, and storage solutions including ONTAP, to deliver robust migration strategies. Contribute to the continued evolution of Lenovo’s Professional Services offerings through innovation and collaboration. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT operations, consulting, or professional services. Experience and/or certifications with one or more of the following: Azure, Nutanix, VMware, ONTAP, OpenShift, AWS, Nvidia AI Enterprise. Demonstrated experience in defining project scope, effort, and cost, both independently and collaboratively. Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills. Proven track record of innovation and adaptability in dynamic environments. Fluent English (written and spoken). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience). Knowledge of public cloud services and associated costing and consumption models.
