Job Title

We are seeking a Materials Manager to oversee the planning, control, and optimization of all material flows within our operations. This role is essential to ensuring timely availability of materials, efficient inventory management, and effective coordination with key areas such as procurement, production, and logistics. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure availability without generating excess costs. Coordinate material sourcing and replenishment with the procurement team and suppliers. Develop and maintain strong inventory control processes (cycle counts, physical inventories, internal audits). Monitor and improve material flow from receiving to production. Implement continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives (LEAN, waste reduction, process optimization). Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of materials. Collaborate closely with production and logistics to maintain uninterrupted operations. Track and report key KPIs (OTD, DOH, inventory accuracy, inventory turnover). Lead, train, and develop the materials and warehouse team. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. 3+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or logistics. Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred: experience in manufacturing environments.
