Supply Excellence Specialist - Americas Location: SKF Monterrey, Guadalajara ó Puebla Employment Type: Full-time, Hybrid Reports to: Manager Americas Supply Excellence About the Role At SKF , the Group Supply Chain plays a vital role in the company’s success. An effective supply chain is key to meeting today’s and tomorrow’s business challenges. Our global team contributes to developing and managing a high-quality supplier base to deliver value to our customers. As a Supply Excellence Specialist , you will participate in strategic sourcing projects with advanced supply chain analytics. You will work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with global SKF communities in Lean , ICR (Integrated Cost Reduction) , and Cost Engineering , offering opportunities to work with colleagues worldwide. You will make a significant contribution to projects linked to various SKF product families. Key Responsibilities As Lean Expert: Apply Lean principles by leading workshops focused on cost optimization, KPI assessment, and continuous improvement. Participate in supplier selection for Lean programs. Collect and analyze data on manufacturing processes. Facilitate Lean workshops using tools such as Value Stream Mapping . Follow up with suppliers to ensure improvement plans are implemented. As ICR Expert: Support SKF factories in developing ICR workshops. Promote and apply ICR methodologies based on business needs. Prepare workshops in collaboration with regional factories. Facilitate idea generation, prioritization, and action plan development. Ensure follow-up for feasibility and results. As Cost Engineering Expert: Apply cost modeling and simulations for Should Cost Analysis . Support Category Managers in fact-based negotiations and cost identification for new products. Perform top-down analysis using statistical principles. Establish best practices and maintain a repository of completed projects. Collaborate with other departments and provide results to stakeholders. Requirements University degree in Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge of manufacturing engineering. Strong understanding of business needs. Fluent in English. Excellent networking skills to build and maintain professional relationships. High level of motivation, commitment, and teamwork.
