Job Description

The Payroll Administrator provides direction for the overall Doosan Bobcat North American payroll processing administration. The Payroll Administrator is the subject matter expert of the payroll processes, and leads payroll-focused resources in the successful and timely payroll processing for active employee and retiree populations. The Payroll Administrator is the liaison between our payroll vendor ADP, and internal HR, Benefits and Treasury teams, with a comprehensive focus on a full-cycle payroll process. The Payroll Administrator executes a critical role in the delivery of superior employee satisfaction with employee problem escalation and ADP Contact Center ticket resolution. Executing a pro-active approach, the Payroll Administrator diligently and aggressively executes proactive and defensive reports to ensure accuracy of payroll-related results. Additionally, the Payroll Administrator is responsible and accountable for executing an internal controls process, while complying with all federal, state and local payroll-related laws. Role & Responsibility Efficiently and accurately coordinate the full-cycle payroll processing administration of 4 pay areas (including biweekly, monthly, and semi-monthly) ,starting with timesheet submission through funding preparation; ensuring strict adherence to the payroll schedule. This includes occasional off-cycle pay runs. Process employee registrations, terminations, and modifications through the IMSS. Coordinate quarterly audits reconciling timekeeping system and payroll systems (SAP Global View). Collaborate with various departmental partners in the continuous process and system improvements including SAP configurations, updates and modifications. Responsible for payroll processing of legal compliance for federal, state and local jurisdictions; including IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAT, FONACOT and state agencies. - Timely filing and payment of state taxes such as ISN. Determination, filing, and timely payment of IMSS, FONACOT and INFONAVIT. Assist with year-end processing,. Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional manner. Job Requirement Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field. 2 years’ payroll experience in a multi-state environment with an organization of 2,000 employees desired. Knowledge of federal and state tax laws, as well as government reporting procedures Proficiency in payroll and accounting software is a plus. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency with strong Excel skills. Ability to work under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines are met with accuracy. Effective communication skills (verbal and written). Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong customer service, teamwork, problem solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to take initiative, prioritize, lead projects to quick resolution, and meet tight deadlines. Travel
