Medical Strategy Advisor Role We are seeking a seasoned Medical Doctor to join our litigation team and provide medical-legal expertise in personal injury cases. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the medical aspects of cases from pre-litigation through trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury, orthopedics, neurology, or related fields and be skilled in analyzing complex medical records. A deep understanding of litigation processes, discovery, and expert testimony is also essential. Key Responsibilities: Initial Case Review Review case files, audits, and medical records to identify missing documentation, prior injuries, and causation concerns. Analyze search results for prior claims and document findings. Medical Strategy Development Build detailed medical timelines and treatment chronologies. Establish clear causation theories and recommend treatment plans aligned with case value and policy limits. Discovery and Legal Support Draft and review medical-focused requests for information and prepare responses to defense discovery. Assemble and label medical exhibits for litigation. Expert and Damages Strategy Identify and vet treating and retained experts. Align disability and wage loss claims with medical evidence. Filevine Management and Communication Maintain accurate Filevine entries and collaborate with litigation associates and external providers. Requirements: Licensed Medical Doctor (MD) 3+ years' experience in personal injury, orthopedics, neurology, or related med-legal fields. Familiarity with litigation processes, discovery, and expert testimony. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex medical records. Skills: Proficiency with Filevine, Google Suite, and remote communication platforms. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
