This role assists with coordinating personnel, maintaining workflow, monitoring production lines, and supporting quality and safety compliance. The Assistant acts as a key operational link between the production team and the Supervisor, helping ensure that shift goals are met or exceeded.ResponsibilitiesShift Support & CoordinationSupport the ProductionSupervisor in directing and organizing daily shift activities.Ensure operators are assignedcorrectly based on skills and production needs.Help monitor attendance,breaks, and shift transitions.Communicate shift priorities,changes, and instructions to production teams.Operations & WorkflowMonitor production lines toensure proper workflow, material availability, and equipment readiness.Assist in identifyingbottlenecks, deviations, or downtime issues and escalate when necessary.Ensure compliance withproduction schedules and support adjustments during the shift.Coordinate with maintenance,warehouse, and quality teams to resolve operational issues.Quality & SafetySupport enforcement of qualitystandards, inspection steps, and work instructions.Assist in identifying defectsand coordinating corrective actions on the line.Promote and maintain a safeworking environment by ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to safetyrules.Report unsafe conditions,incidents, or quality issues immediately.Documentation & ReportingAssist with completingproduction reports, downtime logs, scrap records, and shift summaries.Support data collection forKPIs such as efficiency, output, and scrap rate.Communicate shift results andrelevant updates to incoming shifts and supervisors.Team Support & DevelopmentProvide coaching and guidanceto operators on procedures, best practices, and performance expectations.Support onboarding and trainingof new employees.Maintain a positive,teamwork-oriented environment during the second shift.RequirementsQualificationsTechnical degree, vocationaltraining, or coursework in manufacturing or industrial fields (preferred).1–3 years of experience in amanufacturing environment; experience in production support roles is aplus.Basic understanding ofmanufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality procedures.SkillsStrong communication andcoordination skills.Ability to lead small teams andsupport supervisory tasks.Problem-solving mindset andability to work under pressure.Basic technical understandingof production equipment.Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice; ERP experience is an advantage.Willingness to work secondshift and adapt to changing priorities.What We OfferOpportunity to grow within afast-expanding, globally minded organization.Dynamic and collaborative workenvironment.Competitive compensation anddevelopment opportunities.
