We are looking for a Design Supervisor / Lead Design Engineer with strong experience in automotive interior and exterior component development, specifically in plastic and electrical parts . This role requires solid expertise in Siemens NX , leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive technical decisions across multidisciplinary teams. You will oversee workload distribution, lead problem-solving activities, and ensure alignment with project KPIs and SLAs . As the primary liaison with GM’s Design Group Manager (DGM), program management, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality deliverables and smooth project execution. Actitivies: Leading a mechanical design team responsible for interior/exterior components. Managing workload distribution, escalation channels, and technical issue resolution. Driving and facilitating DFMEA activities. Ensuring alignment with project KPIs, timelines, and quality standards. Acting as the main point of contact with GM’s Design Group Manager and program leadership. Coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams for design alignment. Conducting quality audits and approving final documentation packages. Applying strong knowledge of plastic materials, injection molding, and manufacturability. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Strong experience in plastic component design (required). Proficiency with Siemens NX . Previous experience leading or supervising design teams. Knowledge of injection molding, DFM, and DFMEA leadership. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred. Minimum B2 English level.
