Senior QA Engineer About the Role In this opportunity asSenior QA EngineerYou will:Must be very good, detailed oriented, and self-driven in manual testing, test case designing, identifying issues, collaboration with the development team, validation of issues and bug reporting.Investigate, design, configure / integrate and test process control solutions to a variety of technical problemsCreate detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases in Azure DevOps (ADO) to ensure good test coverage of the features / user stories.Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities for in-sprint, regression and release testing.Communicate with cross-functional teams (e.g. developers, business systems analyst and product manager) to identify, clarify product requirementsParticipate in scrum and agile ceremonies.Work closely with team leaders and architects to discuss, design and implement quality processes and practices.Good Knowledge in ADOUsing cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) web consoles or datadog web console is good to haveUnderstand and build automated tests that fit into the bigger picture of software delivery for building CI / CD pipelines, optimizing the execution of tests, and ensuring that the tests are regularly providing fast and reliable feedbackHave a deep understanding of modern DevOps development tools and practices involved with CI / CD, Continuous Testing / Security and Continuous Monitoring / Observability.Engage with your quality assurance function team focusing on a strategy to improve performance and system stability across a multitude of 3rd party SaaS and PaaS technologiesTest automation engineering experience with Selenium and PostmanExperience testing Web Applications in cross-browser and cross-device using automated test toolsExperience with developing both front-end and back-end automation testsProficient with various testing phases, Functional Testing, Regression Testing and UATGood to have - Automation Requirements (must be willing to learn and implement)Designing, implementing and stabilizing automation tests and taking corrective actions.Participate in defining scope, methodologies and tooling for Quality Engineering practices.Be an advocate for shift-left and automation first approach.Mentoring and helping fellow colleagues in automation and lead from the frontDesign, develop and execute automation scripts.About You You're a fit for the role ofSenior QA Engineer if your background includes :Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology or Business-related degree preferred orequivalent experienceHave 4 to 10 years' experience and a great understanding of both coding and software design principlesExperience working in the public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)along with at least one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C# node.js, etc)Experience with automated testing frameworks such as QTP / UFT, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.Knowledge of testing APIs and backend systems.Experience working in an Agile development environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.Engages with cross functional teams to executeTrains and mentors more junior colleaguesInfluences and articulates compelling QA solutions for customers and product(s)LI-SB3What's in it For You?
