GENERAL SUMMARY:We are currently seeking MFG Staff to join our rapidly-expanding team in Mexicali_Mexico as part of the new LG Electronics Washing Machine(F/L, T/L),Dryer factory. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Identify areas of opportunity and develop strategies to improve productivity, quality and employee engagement Understand the key performance indicators that support continued business growth manage and direct all production and quality activity to ensure a safe work environment responsible for creating and executing a culture of continuous improvement Achievement of daily, monthly and annual production targets Lead and develop a high performance team. Adheres to yearly budget and carries out the plan to meet that budget Responsible for assembly products that meet or exceed profit goals Aligns production to forecast and reduces labor expense, forecasts, tracks and escalates as necessary Responsible for establishing and promoting a safe working environment and establishes and monitors compliance activities to support the safety program. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field 0.5+ years of manufacturing experience in a manufacturing environment, Understanding of production systems Knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements Basic knowledge of manufacturing Sometimes overseas travel is required
