Rigging Technician Job Overview The Rigging Technician is a critical member of our team, responsible for the daily operation, inspection, and maintenance of rigging equipment. Key Responsibilities Support technical management, artistic teams, and stage management during rehearsals, trainings, and performances. Operate rigging equipment and run rigging show tracks; maintain show track documentation and participate in rotation. Inspect, maintain, and document all rigging and fall-protection equipment. Develop thorough knowledge of all rigging systems and production-specific equipment. Assist in special projects involving research, construction, and installation of new show elements. Support cross-departmental needs and participate in trainings and workshops. Troubleshoot technical issues and assist in maintaining all technical elements of the production. Maintain open communication with technical management and associated show staff regarding notes, issues, or concerns. Requirements College or university degree (or equivalent relevant experience).
