Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial and accounting support to ensure accurate reporting, cost control, and effective budgeting within the transportation department. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure. They will also possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Key Responsibilities: Assist with month-end closing procedures Prepare and record assigned journal entries Review for accuracy and correct posting entries Prepare variance analysis report monthly actual vs weekly and forecast Prepare monthly forecast package Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting Perform other accounting/financial duties as requested Assist with the preparation of financial and ad-hoc reports as needed Complete special projects as required Required Skills and Qualifications: 4-year college degree in accounting, finance or similar from an accredited institution At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance positions as an analyst Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook) Good analytical and organizational skills Excellent communication skills (i.e. oral and written) Well organized and able to multi-task Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Experience with Planful, Oracle financials and related modules About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.
