Responsibilities: • Supervise and ensure compliance with customs regulations in all import and export operations. • Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation and declarations accurately. • Perform tariff classification according to the Harmonized System (HS) and correctly apply rates and taxes. • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and government authorities. • Monitor changes in customs legislation and update internal procedures. • Resolve detentions, customs inspections, and document discrepancies. • Provide internal advice on restrictions, tariffs, regulations, and best practices in foreign trade. • Maintain and audit customs records in accordance with Mexican and international regulations. • Identify opportunities for duty savings, process optimization, and risk reduction. • Train and guide internal or junior staff on customs compliance matters. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, or a related field. • 2–3 years of experience in customs operations. • Handling of import/export documentation and knowledge of current regulations. • Excel and ERP systems (SAP, VUCEM, or others). • Advanced English.
