What you’ll do Job Summary The primary function of Engineer Field Sales is to drive demand creation and share gain at the OEM and EMS accounts. Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and ability to design-in Eaton Electronics solutions. This position will be responsible for directly interfacing with OEM's and EMS's within Mexico. Job Responsibilities Design in Eaton Electronics solutions and increase Eaton share in the marketplace. You will be assigned a territory (Mexico) based on significance to the company and their strategic accounts (major EMS and OEM). You will partner with Senior Sales manager (MX) for strategic direction. You will spend the majority of your time at key accounts (within driving range primarily). You will independently develop and implement action plans targeted at YOY growth and agreed performance levels. You will make recommendations to management regarding potential challenges or issues on a case-by-case basis, offering solutions and pro-actively scheduling sales calls. You will drive for share gain thru competitor crossing and reverse transfer (aid design-in to USA based OEM's). Meet any other activity assigned by your supervisor or special requirements of the company. Active participation in continues improvements programs and committees. Know and comply the Policies: Global Ethics, Values and Philosophy, Management Environmental Safety and Security and Health (MESH). Qualifications Education level required Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution is preferred. Other degrees may be considered if the candidate has experience in sales of electronics or electronic components. Years and area of experience required Minimum of 3 years within Electronic/Electrical sales and technical selling and outside sales or field application role. Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English-Spanish required. Availability to travel VISA Technical knowledge Electronics circuitry, design and application experience. Ability to respond to a variety of challenging circumstances. Capacity to manage several projects and decisions at the same time as well as interrelation with all kind people at all level of the organization and with our customers, channels and end users. Experience utilizing Value Added Selling techniques. Proficiency in computer skills Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Management). Experience on sales, markets, products, investment and strategies. Soft skills Self-driven, accountable, passionate, charismatic communicator, Problem solver, Spanish speaking.
