HR Manager – Mexico Location: Mexico City Work Model: Hybrid Languages: Mandarin + English or SpanishRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced HR professional to support and drive the company’s growth in Mexico. This role will lead local HR operations while ensuring alignment with global HR policies and compliance with Mexican labor regulations. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience across recruitment, compensation & performance, and employee relations in a fast-growing or multinational environment.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Strategy & OperationsDevelop and implement local HR plans aligned with the company’s business strategy in Mexico;Establish and manage core HR functions, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, training, and employee relations;Localize and execute global HR policies in compliance with Mexican labor laws.Talent Acquisition & Workforce ManagementLead recruitment for management and key roles in Mexico;Build and manage local hiring channels (job boards, agencies, universities, government resources);Participate in interviews and hiring decisions to ensure talent quality.Compensation, Performance & ComplianceDesign and manage competitive and compliant compensation and benefits programs;Manage annual salary review, bonus planning, and labor cost control;Implement performance management processes to drive accountability and engagement;Ensure compliance with Mexican labor law, social security, and tax regulations;Handle labor contracts, terminations, disputes, and employee relations matters.Training & Organization DevelopmentDevelop and deliver annual training plans based on business needs;Support leadership development and talent pipeline building;Assist with organizational design and change management initiatives.Headquarters CollaborationAct as a bridge between headquarters and the Mexico team to support cross-cultural collaboration;Provide regular HR reports on workforce structure, risks, and compliance;Support audits, compliance reviews, and global HR projects.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field;5–10 years of HR experience, including 3–5 years in overseas or Latin America HR roles;Solid knowledge of Mexican labor law and local HR practices;Strong experience across recruitment, compensation & performance, and employee relations;Ability to build HR systems and processes from scratch in a growing organization;Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and risk management skills;Mandarin required; English or Spanish as a working language.HR certifications (SHRM, HRCI, CIPD, etc.) are a plus.
