Position OverviewWe are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role supports our clinical staff by transcribing medical information in real time, updating records and billing data, and managing routine administrative tasks that help ensure smooth clinic operations.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as adocumentation assistantduring clinical visits, transcribing patient information into Electronic Health Records (EHR) in real time. Accuratelyupdate patient billing informationand maintain up-to-date records. Manageroutine administrative duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with the onsite team. Supportefficient clinical operationsby maintaining clear, timely communication across team members. Use a variety of digital tools includingZoom,EHR systems, andvirtual phone line softwareto support day-to-day tasks. Ensurecompliance with HIPAA and clinic standardsfor data security and patient confidentiality.QualificationsMust befluent in English and Spanish(written and spoken). Strong understanding and fluency inmedical terminology. Proven experience usingmedical software systems,Zoom, andvirtual phone platforms. Priorexperience in the medical fieldor aformal education background in healthcare(e.g., medical assistant program, nursing, public health). Excellentlistening, typing, and multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
