Job Description

Plan, direct, coordinate, and standardize all operations related to compliance with customs regulations and international trade in the organization at the Mexican level, ensuring the correct import and export of goods, minimizing legal and financial risks, and optimizing processes to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance. Your main responsibilities will be organized around the following areas : Design and implement the national customs strategy, aligning processes between plants. Ensure compliance with Customs regulations and the Ministry of Economy of all plants: Annual renewal of CIVA certification Annual Report for SE Audit and validate the bimonthly information to the SAT for the discharges of Annex 31. Audit the SAT data stage report of the Security Matrix for the audits of annex 24 of each plant. Ensure the correct use of the ZOE system annex 24 of all plants, generating monthly audits and corrective actions when appropriate. Reduction of import taxes (Prepare annually the analysis of tariff fractions and parts to be imported to prepare Rule 8 permit for tax reduction). Comply with the customs and logistics responsibilities of C-TPAT and AEO (verify that partners, suppliers, carriers and customs brokers comply with AEO and C-TPAT requirements). Lead, direct and transmit knowledge to the Customs Department (Prepare instruction manuals for Customs operations, prepare meetings and courses both internal and external to increase knowledge, Guide Customs personnel in the fulfillment of the department's goals. Supervise and monitor the BOMs of Clayens Materials, for customs matters. Ensure compliance and correct application of Mexican and American Customs Laws through the analysis of the information sent to the authorities. Direct and monitor operations of the Customs department through the definition of the responsibilities of the specialists and analysts of the area and the Involvement in the operations and logistics of the department. Coordinate external audits on customs matters and meet requirements of competent authorities. Profile : Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, International Trade, Public Accounting, L.A.E. or International Relations, preferably with a Master's degree. Experience: Minimum 7 years in foreign trade operations, in IMMEX companies. Advanced English. Hard Skills : Management of computer programs (MS Office). Import and export knowledge. Knowledge of International Logistics. Knowledge in VAT Certification, AEO Certification and C-TPAT. Knowledge in annex 31, annex 22 (Pedimentos) and annex 24 (Inventory Control System). Experience in procedures with the Customs authority, SAT and Ministry of Economy. Knowledge of Customs laws and their regulations. Handling of Customs Brokers and Carriers. Knowledge of INCOTERMS, IMMEX Program and PROSEC. Knowledge of 8th Rules and Free Trade Agreements. Knowledge of different Free Trade Agreements and their Rules of Origin.
