Compensation:[Starting / Initial] Base Salary Pay Range : 600,000 - 785.000 MXNSpecific offers within the listed pay ranges are determined by a variety of factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and business needs. Responsibilities: Responsible for fiber optics network field activity, Long haul and metro, Transport and RoutersImplementation of long haul and metro network augmentation, coordination and installationTurn-up and test new customer connections and circuitsWork with Network Planning and Service Delivery teams to provide Field perspective to network deployment as well as to provide expertise in deployments.Organize projects with contractors and internal staffTraveling within Mexico is required as well as full time availability Qualifications : Working knowledge of network architectures and telecom infrastructure including fiber networks.5+ years’ experience on telecommunication networksWorking knowledge on telecom infrastructureField experience with install and turn-up DWDM and IP networksExperience in the use of optical test equipment: power meters, OTDRs, OSAs, and interpretation of test resultsProblem solving and troubleshooting skillsHigh-energy individual with interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate peers, and drive project to completionEngineer/Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or related field, or incomplete degree, equivalent experience, certifications, or training To apply for the Field Engineer position, please submit your resume and cover letter to [email protected] Communications is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
