We are committed to accuracy, innovation, and a world-class supply chain infrastructure.Role OverviewTheInventory Manageris responsible for overseeing all inventory-control activities and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and availability of materials across the facility. This role manages cycle counts, stock reconciliation, material movements, and ERP data accuracy. The Inventory Manager works closely with warehouse, production, procurement, and quality teams to maintain a highly organized and efficient flow of goods.This position ensures that Nysonian maintains a reliable inventory system that supports rapid growth, reduces costs, and enhances overall operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Control & AccuracyMaintain accurate inventorylevels for raw materials, components, WIP, and finished goods.Lead daily, weekly, and monthlycycle counts; analyze results and implement corrective actions.Investigate and resolveinventory discrepancies, including quantity variances, mis-picks, ormaterial mix-ups.Ensure proper labeling, binmanagement, and storage practices within all warehouse zones.ERP/WMS Data IntegrityOversee inventory transactionsin ERP/WMS systems, ensuring accurate real-time data.Validate receiving, transfers,adjustments, and production consumption entries.Identify system errors orprocess gaps and coordinate corrective solutions.Support enhancements orupgrades to ERP/WMS functionality.Process & Compliance ManagementDevelop and implementinventory-control procedures, ensuring alignment with company policies.Maintain audit-readydocumentation related to inventory movements and controls.Ensure compliance with safetyregulations, quality standards, and internal SOPs.Lead 5S andcontinuous-improvement initiatives within inventory areas.Cross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate with purchasing toidentify material shortages, overstocks, and slow-moving items.Support production withaccurate material availability and monitoring of consumption trends.Partner with quality teams tomanage quarantined, defective, or dispositioned inventory.Coordinate withinbound/outbound supervisors to maintain correct stock rotation(FIFO/FEFO).Reporting & KPIsTrack and report key inventorymetrics such as accuracy percentage, cycle-count results, stock turns,write-off levels, and aging materials.Provide regular updates andinsights to Supply Chain leadership.Recommend strategicimprovements to reduce carrying costs and improve inventory performance.Team LeadershipSupervise and develop theinventory-control team (analysts, counters, data specialists).Provide training, coaching, andperformance evaluations.Promote a strong culture ofaccountability and operational discipline.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in SupplyChain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field preferred.3–5 years of inventorymanagement experience, ideally in a manufacturing or distributionenvironment.Experience with ERP or WMSsystems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Fishbowl, etc.).Strong understanding ofinventory control methods, cycle counts, and root-cause analysis.Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical,problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.High attention to detail andcommitment to accuracy.Strong communication skills andcross-functional collaboration.Ability to work under pressurein a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel(VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reporting).Knowledge of Lean, 5S, andcontinuous-improvement methodologies is a plus.What Nysonian OffersOpportunity to build andoptimize a key operational function in a growing organization.A collaborative,high-performance work environment.Professional development andgrowth opportunities.Competitivecompensation and benefits.
