We are seeking anOn-site Food Safety Coordinatorfor our client's operational BRCGS-certified manufacturing facility. This role is critical to maintaining and strengthening the food safety program, ensuring compliance with global food safety standards, and supporting high-quality production from day one. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and experienced in fast-paced food manufacturing environments. Requirements Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain all requiredfood safety documentationin accordance withBRCGS Issue 9standards (floor logs, cleaning logs, checklists, pre- and post-manufacturing inventory counts, lot traceability). Monitor and ensure compliance withCritical Control Points (CCPs)and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Track production trends, KPIs, targets, and efficiencies, providing data-driven insights usingExcel, Office 365, Teams, Trace, and CRM tools . Report non-conformities promptlyand support corrective actions. Overseeenvironmental monitoring programs , including TPC,E. coli , and Salmonella swabs. Supportemergency response and incident management drills . Provide guidance, training, and support to manufacturing floor staff; act as aliaison between office and production teams . Adapt to afast-paced, changing daily schedule , handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Ensure compliance with allfood safety requirements and company standards .Qualifications & SkillsMinimum3 years of experiencein a food manufacturing environment. PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) certificationis highly desirable; SQF experience a plus. Strongtechnical skills : Excel, Office 365, Teams, Trace, CRM, and data reporting. Excellentattention to detail, organization, and documentation skills . Flexible, adaptable , and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual in English and Spanishpreferred. Strongwork ethicand ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable withstanding/walking throughout the day. Candidates must be located inTijuana ; transportation assistance from the border to the facility may be provided in the morning.
