Accounts Payable Specialist This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to take on a challenging role that requires ownership, analysis and problem-solving skills. Owning the accounts payable process from receipt of invoice through payment processing Reviewing and validating invoices for accuracy, completeness, proper approval and compliance with company policies Following up with internal stakeholders to resolve missing documentation or approvals in a timely manner Processing invoices using AP systems and accounting platforms ensuring accurate accounting treatment Supporting weekly payment runs (ACH, wires, checks) by verifying payments are made according to schedule while maintaining accurate records /li >Reconciling AP balances regularly by investigating discrepancies between system records and actual cash receipt / disbursements; identifying areas for improvement within the accounts payable function Required Skills & Qualifications:  (Below) ,h3 Required Skills:h4.
