Job Overview:We are seeking aPayroll Specialistto manage payroll for our client's service-based team, including hourly staff, commission-based providers, and employees receiving tips. This role is crucial to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing.Key Responsibilities:Process payroll for hourly staff, commission earners, and tip-based employees on a regular schedule (biweekly)Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulationsMaintain accurate employee and payroll recordsManage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, deductions, and tip reportingRequirementsQualifications:Minimum 2 years of US payroll processing experienceExperience with Booker and Gusto platforms is an advantageKnowledge of payroll regulations, including handling tips and commission-based payHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionExcellent communication and problem-solving skills
