Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Leader About the Role We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Leader to oversee the full operational performance of a large manufacturing site. Main Responsibilities Lead daily operations to ensure products are manufactured on time, in full, and to required specifications. Manage a 24/7 production cycle with low cycle times and high-output requirements. Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reduce scrap, and strengthen operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Ideal Candidate Profile A minimum of 5 years' experience as a General Manager or operations leader within a mid-size industrial or manufacturing organization. Educational background in Engineering or Technical field; plus relevant professional training. Strong technical knowledge is necessary for this role. A degree in Industrial Engineering would be ideal but not essential if you have equivalent hands-on experience with lean management principles and processes such as Six Sigma, ISO9001:2015 quality system implementation practices etc., especially related factory best practice improvements including Total Productive Maintenance TPM that helps protect plant machinery from downtime by preventing preventive scheduled shutdowns which often lead unwanted short-term loss reductions after work hours although avoiding emergencies these regular maintenance schedules shorten term stoppages anyway without hurting their long life span!
