Location: Mexico (Exact location confidential) Salary: MXN 3,000,000 per year Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: A leading financial institution is seeking a strategic Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead enterprise risk management and safeguard operations, reputation, and regulatory compliance. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CRO will oversee risk, compliance, information security, business continuity, fraud, AML/BSA, vendor risk, and insurance, while promoting a risk-aware culture. Key Responsibilities: Build and mature the ERM framework; monitor key risk indicators and mitigation plans. Oversee information security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis response. Govern compliance, BSA/AML programs, and vendor risk management. Lead enterprise fraud risk strategy and insurance coverage strategy. Report actionable risk insights to the Board and executive leadership. Qualifications: 7+ years in risk management, compliance, or internal audit in financial services; credit union experience preferred. Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field; MBA preferred. Strong knowledge of Mexican financial regulations, ERM, and risk frameworks. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
