At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis. Tasks Summary & Responsibilities Assist in control tower setup from design to implementation. Execute Control Tower Operations - Day-to-day issue identification, raise flags and assist in resolution. Support the global/regional/BU logistics team by providing visibility and insights by setting up process adherence checks and publishing metrics and highlighting delays. Manage reporting/ dashboards on operational level - clean, organize, prepare data, information, & results Conduct complete RCA on fill rate issues and publish reports. Maintain close cross functional stakeholder management. Ensure process adherence and follow - up with ground team to provide an unparalleled delivery experience to customers/ cross functional teams. Real Time Shipment Visibility & Delivery Reliability. Freight Cost Reduction and Operational Efficiency. Warehousing and Inventory Control. Risk Management, Disaster Planning and Alerts What your background should look like:Bachelor or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field Minimum 10 years direct experience in Logistics & Supply Chain e.g. Supply chain design, logistics, control tower, procurement or Operations. Global exposure is a plus. High level understanding of supply chain concepts- Network, Transportation, Warehousing & Inventory etc. Prior working knowledge in Analytics using Analytic tools will be an added advantage. Must have- Excellent MS PowerPoint and Excel skills. Preferable- Power Bi, Tableau, SAP, SQL APICS, Lean certification, IBF or equivalent certification is a plus. Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Ability to perform multiple tasks, adjust quickly in short time frame with limited direct supervision. Ability to create rapport with others and build a team environment. Ability to work flexible hours if necessary. Can apply first principles thinking to solve problems, Self-motivated and bias for action/ ownership.
