In SSOE Group Mexico we are seekingElectrical Senior Associate in Engineering projects with 8 or more years of experience in the design of power, lighting, and grounding systems for industrial special technologies facilities such as: Data Centers, Semiconductors, Battery, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage plants.. . .The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.Lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale commercial projects, including power distribution (medium and low voltage), lighting, fire alarm, data/communications, and grounding systems.Manage and execute design deliverables using Revit / BIM platforms, applying SSOE standards for model quality and coordination.Perform and review load calculations, short-circuit and coordination studies, and lighting analysis using industry software.Ensure electrical designs align with all applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IES, local jurisdictional requirements).Serve as discipline lead on complex projectsplanning tasks, overseeing junior engineers/designers, and reviewing design documentation for accuracy.Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams to deliver coordinated, efficient building designs.Participate in client engagement: define project scope, present design progress, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Develop or review technical specifications and cost estimates.Mentor emerging designers and engineers, promoting technical excellence and knowledge sharing.Support project management and business development activities as needed. ..What You Will Bring:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.8 or more yearsof relevant electrical design experience within the AEC industry, with a focus on large facilities (Data Centers, Semiconductors, Battery, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage plants).Prior experience with equipment selection / bitter sizing and protection / conduit cable trail calculations / line circuit protection / load calculations / line and distribution / flow calculations / lighting controls / low voltage distribution / emergency systems.Technical software experience (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SINCAL).Familiarity with NFPA 70 code.Understanding of NEC, NFPA, IES, and applicable energy codes.Conversational English level (Reporting to US) ..Desirable Skills:Prior semiconductor industry, battery manufacturing and EV experience.Prior Revit experience.Familiarity with Deltek Master Pack (MasterSpec).Prior experience with UPS Systems and photovoltaic (is a plus)...LocationsWe have 2 offices en Mexico, you can be eaither one:León, Gto(Hybrid weekly schedule)Chihuahua, Chih(Hybrid weekly schedule) .What We Bring:Monthly based gross salaryMajor medical expenses insurance (Family Plan)Minor medical expenses insuranceDental and Visual insurance (Family Plan)Annual Check-upLife insurance20 Days as Christmas BonusVacation premium above the lawFood Coupons.Career DevelopmentTraining and Education...Additional Perks Offered:Hybrid Work Model, flexibility to work from home, allowing for a better work-life balance.
