We are looking for a Product Claims Specialist within the Product Sales Support Department (PSS). The main objective of the Product Claims Specialist is to conduct an in-depth analysis to identify the root cause of product failures reported to be defective by end users. He/she will also be responsible for collecting data and generating necessary reports, using statistical methods to identify areas of improvement, and working with the management team to prioritize improvements and avoid the repetition of similar faults in the future. Responsibilities Doing in-depth analysis to find the root cause for product claims returned by customers and discussing possible solutions with the responsible departments. Managing the flow of product claim returns, starting from logging on the claims schedule up to the compilation of the report, which will be shared with the sales team. Gathering monthly statistical data on claims and determining any recurring claims to be able to solve issues in a proactive manner. Identify areas of possible product improvement. Work with PSS engineers to gather data from applications to relate the failure mode with the way the product is being used in the customer application. Participate in quarterly claims meetings together with the PSS manager to discuss critical claims and find proper solutions. Requirements Preferably in possession of an electrical/electronic technical degree. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are a must. Strong technical writing skills with the ability to create a good technical document. Ability to work in a team. Self-motivated and able to work on his/her own without constant supervision.
