This position will focus on improvement of the facility’s safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost.ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance to ISO 9000 (QMS), 14001(EMS), and 18001 (OSHAS)Interact with support and Manufacturing areas to explore, develop, test and implement new automation systems to meet production challenges.Identify opportunities to improve the manufacturing process. Prioritize these opportunities, develop and implement project plans to address as necessary.Help manage projects by establishing/monitoring progress to milestones/deliverables. Monitor processes, observing equipment, and study methods. Implement cost reductions, correct malfunctions within processes and control critical characteristics of processes.Initiate and foster a spirit of cooperation within working groups for projects.Identify, evaluate, and troubleshoot equipment issues.Maintain a safe and satisfying work environment through an emphasis on continuous training, accident prevention, adherence to safety policy and involvement in safety investigations.Lead by example in a values-based culture, participating and connecting teams to company core values and uphold the Weidmann Leadership Principles of Trust, Alignment, Pride, and Accountability.Ensure reliability and operation of new equipment.
