THIS POSITION IS IN MEXICO. WE ARE OPEN TO HIRING SOMEONE FROM THE US SIDE Position Overview A well-established Tier 1 automotive supplier with multiple manufacturing operations in Mexico is seeking a Plant Finance Controller to lead finance activities across its plants. This role partners closely with plant and regional leadership to drive financial performance, operational discipline, and compliance in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead plant-level finance operations across multiple manufacturing sites Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting processes Oversee cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning Monitor manufacturing costs, margins, and operational KPIs Ensure compliance with Mexican statutory accounting, tax requirements, and Mexican labor law Ensure financial compliance with USMCA and IMMEX regulations Maintain strong internal controls over inventory, fixed assets, and manufacturing costs Coordinate internal and external audits Act as a financial business partner to plant and operations leadership Lead and develop plant finance teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Master's degree preferred 8+ years of finance experience in manufacturing Prior experience as a Plant Controller or Senior Finance Manager in automotive manufacturing Strong cost accounting and inventory management experience Knowledge of Mexican labor law Familiarity with USMCA and IMMEX regulations Experience supporting multiple manufacturing plants Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience Fluent in Spanish and English Why Consider This Role High-impact leadership role within a stable automotive organization Exposure to multi-plant operations Competitive compensation and benefits Long-term career growth opportunity
