Sales Planning Data ScientistThis role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.Aruba is redefining the “IT EDGE”. We are focused on campus, branch, mobility and the IoT to transform business models with the combined power of compute, context, control and secure connectivity.We are looking for a passionate Data Scientist with demonstrated knowledge of analytics platforms, process automation, and data modeling and reporting. As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to create foundational data sets that will be used by our business planning team to influence key strategic decisions. You will also play a key role in finding creative automated solutions that allow us to streamline and improve internal processes. As a member of the Sales Strategy and Planning team, you will belong to a cross-functional team closely partnered with sales and master data teams to execute business objectives.**How you will make your mark**:- Responsible for developing and managing centralized Aruba planning databases to ensure proper implementation of proposed territory and rep alignment structures in North America.- Has experience in database management and data modeling. Write queries against source systems to extract data for analysis.- Strategic thinker who can translate the needs of our business planning managers and sales leaders into actionable data sets.- Collaborate with internal teams to understand reporting requirements and derive key metrics.- Design, develop and automate dashboards and data repositories to support reporting for internal teams at scale.- Collaboratively focused and able to work well with others in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment.**About you**:- 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist, or in a relevant field.- Hands-on experience working with large datasets to transform data into meaningful insights.- Experience with SQL, R/Python, or other programming languages.- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools (PowerBI, ThinkCell preferred).- Experience with Salesforce and Anaplan preferred.- Advanced Englsih- Advanced Excel knowdlegde.- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsmexicoJoin us and make your mark!**We offer**:- A competitive salary and extensive social benefits- Diverse and dynamic work environment- Work-life balance and support for career development- An amazing life inside the element!
