Job DescriptionProduction Specialist Location:301 Lafayette St., Mexico, MO 65265 Shifts: 1st Shift:7 AM – 7 PM, Alternating pattern of days worked including weekends (2-2-3) 2nd Shift:3 PM – 11 PM, Monday – Friday 3rd Shift:7 PM – 7 AM, Alternating pattern of days worked including weekends (2-2-3) Job Type:Full Time Compensation:$21.19/hour; plus $0.55 shift differential for 2nd shift or $1.00 shift differential for 3rd shiftJob Duties Grain and waste handling through scraping, shoveling, and sweeping up soybean product and byproductOperate equipment throughout the facility which may include tractors with front loaders, skid-steers, manlifts, forklifts, UTVs, etc.Monitor product quality specificationsCollect product samples and transport them to the labUtilize computer systems to input and record data as required regarding safety, sanitation, maintenance, and process equipment operationInteract regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environmentMonitor and measure tank levelsMaintain a safe and clean work environmentKnowledge, understanding, and adherence to all safety policies and proceduresRequirements 18 years or olderHigh School Diploma or GED EquivalentValid Driver’s LicenseBasic computer skillsAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to work in elevated areasAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or differential shiftsPerks & Benefits Enriching the quality of life for the world begins by taking care of our colleagues.
