Overview This position is onsite at our Mezcal Vago distillery in Oaxaca, Mexico. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.The Bottling Assistant Supervisor will ensure the proper filling of artisanal and ancestral mezcal, preserving its traditional characteristics, guaranteeing compliance with applicable regulations, product traceability, and quality, safety, and food safety standards through direct supervision of the process and personnel under their responsibility.The Supervisor is specialized personnel whose primary mission is to validate and verify the correct bottling of mezcal, ensuring full product traceability. The supervisor is proactive, shows initiative, and demonstrates leadership traits; communicates assertively with responsibility and ethics; possesses knowledge of bottling line assembly, filtration, and machinery operation; is an active and meticulous collaborator with strong attention to detail and motivates the personnel under their supervision.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily bottling activities for artisanal and ancestral mezcal.Verify that the bottled product complies with NOM-070-SCFI, the guidelines of the CRM (Mezcal Regulatory Council), and current regulations.Ensure correct identification of batches, volumes, alcohol content, and categories.Validate the proper and correct use of bottles, closures, and packaged product identification. Coordinate product sampling, storage, and release with the Quality department.Maintain batch traceability from bulk mezcal through delivery to the labeling area. Supervise good hygiene, order, and cleanliness practices.Verify correct assembly and operation of the filtration line in accordance with established procedures.Verify proper operation of machinery and/or manual packaging processes.Prepare control samples in coordination with the Quality department. Validate correct bottle fill levels according to specifications.Verify proper cleaning and integrity of bottles prior to delivery to the packaging area. Control losses, waste, and yield within the packaging process.Maintain updated records for the area.Report daily production progress, incidents, results, and losses.Request required supplies for operation from the warehouse and maintenance supervisors.Support internal and external audits (OEC, customers, authorities).#J-18808-Ljbffr
