Vapotherm, IncDescripción y detalle de las actividadesThe Logistics Analyst –Location pacific-- Mexico will be responsible for coordination of shipments of Raw Material, Finished Goods, and Equipment between San Diego, Mexico, and Texas. This role is responsible for all documentation needed to complete imports and exports related to inbound and outbound shipments for Vapotherm’s Plant in Tijuana, VapoMex. This role will create and maintain all reports and transactions for Rule 8, Scrap, Freight and Viant Epicor Transactions. The role collaborates with leadership and stakeholders to develop VapoMex freight cost and import/export cost metrics. This role requires written and verbal fluency in Spanish and English. Position Requirements - Education, Knowledge, Years of Experience, etc. (Bulleted form): • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field • 5+ years of experience in the medical device or life sciences logistics and distribution and/or Military Logistics Experience • Fluency in Spanish and English – both written and verbal • Knowledge of common PC applications (Microsoft Office, etc.) • Import / export compliance program development and maintenance experience • Experience negotiating freight contracts and spot rates • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, • Excellent organizational skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to function well in a team environment. • Trained in LEAN principles a plus • Experience in a medical device environment with knowledge of ISO 13485, GMP, and FDA regulations. • Coordination of Inbound shipments of Raw materials finished goods, and equipment from San Deigo to VapoMex. • Coordination of Outbound freight from VapoMex. • Track Rule 8 permits for non-USMCA raw materials and coordinate with TACNA’s system. • Track and communicate all import pediments and calculate overall impact to VapoMex budget. • Create and manage all necessary documentation to create export compliance processes. • Maintain compliant scrap process for all items scraped at VapoMex. • Manage relationships with shipping partners and agents (freight forwarders, freight companies, etc.) • Complete and reconcile Viant Epicor transactions. • Able to generate and communicate reports regarding cost impacts for the plant. • Oversee inventory movement and processing the respective transactions in the ERP system. • Communicate with Customer Service and Purchasing Leadership. • Understand company policies, Quality System, and its documentation requirements, to meet FDA compliance. • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent local standards. • Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent to local standards. • Compliance with all personnel policies • Must be able to alternate walking, standing & sitting during shift • Frequent execution of lifting supplies and parts weighing up to or more than 20lbs. • Will occasionally wear clean room clothing for shift including jacket, safety glasses, and hair net.
