We are looking for a Senior Foreign Trade Specialist to lead our import/export operations and ensure regulatory compliance at every step of the supply chain.Key Responsibilities: ERP Management:Proficiently use ERP systems for order entry, document preparation, and independently managing the end-to-end order delivery process. Customer Success:Monitor order progress and provide proactive, timely feedback to customers. Financial Tracking:Manage and track business receipts, payments, and collections. Contract & Admin:Conduct contract reviews for new products, maintain filing systems, and manage sales invoice administration. Customs Operations:Oversee the full lifecycle of customs declarations, inspections, and clearance for both import and export goods, ensuring strict compliance and efficiency. Documentation:Collaborate with clients to prepare customs documents and material information cards (including HS Codes, declaration elements, and duty rates). Stakeholder Management:Maintain fluid and professional communication with customs authorities and brokers. Regional Expertise:Deep knowledge of North American import/export policies, including USMCA, IMMEX, and related regulations. Technical Proficiency:Expert understanding of commodity classification, rules of origin, tax calculation, and theImport and Export Tariff Schedule. Problem Solving:Strong risk-control awareness with the ability to resolve abnormalities in customs clearance proactively. Logistics Flow:Fully familiar with the standard order-to-delivery process.Requirements: Education:Bachelor’s degree or higher. Priority given to majors in International Trade, Logistics, or English. Languages:Fluent English (Proficient written and oral communication is mandatory). Experience:2–3 years of solid experience in international freight forwarding or customs declaration projects. Certifications:Prior training in ISO9000 and TS16949 standards. Tools:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
