The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.ResponsibilitiesCulture champion to help us become the #1 employer in the region.Partners with the site leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, retention, and succession planning.Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.Manages the internal recruiting process, partners with the talent acquisition team, and collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for site openings.Supervise all payroll functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Advises and trains managers and supervisors on ER best practices and strategies for evaluating culture, managing associate issues and providing assistance when needed on employee grievances.Collaborates with plant HR and legal team on contract negotiations and grievances.Facilitate regular meetings with union representatives to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive working relationship.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and legal counsel when necessary to address complex labor issues.QualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources. business administrations or related field required7+ years of Human Resources management experience within a unionized environmentStrong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategiesknowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in MexicoExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsDemonstrated expertise training managers and employeesStrong organizational, critical thinking and communications skillsProficiency in using Microsoft software: Excel, Word, PowerPointAttention to detail and good judgementMust be fluent in both English and SpanishPhysical requirements, working conditions.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
