Job Title: Azure Security Engineer Location Hybrid GDL, CDMX or MTY Duration Full time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Azure Security Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft cloud security, governance, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience securing enterprise environments across Azure and Microsoft 365, along with the ability to advise stakeholders on secure AI adoption and regulatory alignment. This is a client-facing, consulting-oriented role requiring both deep technical expertise and strong executive communication skills. Key Responsibilities Design and implement cloud security governance frameworks across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments Provide hands-on expertise in Microsoft security tools including Purview, Entra, and Defender Lead secure adoption initiatives for Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI workloads Implement and manage Azure Policy for compliance and governance enforcement Ensure regulatory alignment with standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST Conduct security assessments and recommend improvements Lead short-term, outcome-driven consulting engagements Communicate security risks and governance strategies effectively to executive stakeholders Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in cloud security architecture or compliance (enterprise Microsoft environments preferred) Strong hands-on experience with: Microsoft Purview Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps Azure Policy Microsoft 365 Administration Experience securing AI workloads (Copilot, AI Foundry, Fabric) Strong understanding of Responsible AI principles and privacy-by-design Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, ISO, and NIST
